What Customers Say About Nescafe Classic Instant Greek Coffee 200 gram can:

This product is very difficult to get in the US so we were very excited to find it on AMAZON. He makes his "Iced Greek Coffee" every morning. A bit strong for my taste but he loves it and reminds him of the village he grew up in Greece.

I love this coffee, but it's hard to find. This seller is reliable and fast.

Nescafe Classic is Nescafe Classic. There is NO Greek Nescafe. You can use ANY Nescafe Classic to make 'frappe' if you want. You can use Nescafe Clasico (sold by Amazon LLC for $ 18.65 for 3 glass jars of 7 ounce each and free shipping) and it is way cheaper than this tinny Greek product and it is 100% the same Nescafe Classic sold all over the world. There is no need/reason to pay this much for the same product.People who have never tasted good instant coffee I recommend Nescafe Gold. Not sold in the US but known and enjoyed by millions around the world.

But if you're addicted to coffee, and heat is unavailable or inconvenient, here's a product that might serve your purpose. How does it taste.

However, Greek youth frequently spurned such stuff and drank instead the "frappes" made from the product you see here. When I lived in Greece in the Seventies, I insisted on drinking what the old people drank, namely Turkish coffee ("emeis to leme elleniko" - "we call it Greek" said a blurb on the package).

Since it doesn't need, really, to be heated, there's no messing about with stoves and cleaning. To each their own.

However, I've found a different use for it these latter days: I carry it on camping, and, especially, backpacking trips. Well, you can't have everything.

Or perhaps prove that you're not the old-fashioned sort of Greek.

I really enjoyed the Nescafe that we got in the supermarket this summer on our trip to Greece. I've used Parthenon Foods for most of my orders and while delivery is expensive (~$10 per shipment), shipping does not seem to go up when you purchase more stuff (e.g., 3 cans of coffee instead of 1). Unfortunately, the "Classico" (note the "o" at the end) in US stores doesn't taste anything like this (yuk). Having run out of my small supply I brought back on the plane, I searched the web for Nescafe Classic (Freek style) and found this from two sellers online. So, I just buy in bulk. Also really enjoyed the Eurocrem (a hazelnut/vanilla based spread) that is used on crepes in some shops in Greece and Yugoslavia.
